Step 1.
Our process starts with your why! This is our value proposition. An important part of this is the first meeting. We call it the FIT meeting. Usually, it’s a short meeting over the phone, or via Zoom/Teams where we discuss your current situation and what you’re looking to accomplish. This meeting is designed to determine two key elements. 1. Can we help you? 2. Do we both think we would work well together?
Step 2.
If it makes sense to move forward, the planning process will begin immediately. As a Certified Financial Planner® professional, we commit to the following when planning for your financial objectives. During our second meeting, we will define the terms of engagement. This explains what you can expect of us, and what we need from you. We will learn more about your goals, needs and priorities. We then analyze what we’ve learned and develop a plan specifically tailored to you. During this step, we may not necessarily move forward. You need to be comfortable with terms and our philosophy.
Step 3.
This is where we would present the plan and make recommendations based on your goals. After presenting the plan, and agreeing on implementation and action, we will open accounts and finalize our relationship.
Steps 4.
But no plan is successful without continually re-evaluating the plan and your progress to your goals. This is done through regular reviews with you. In the background, we regularly evaluate our investment portfolios for changes and underperformance. On top of our regular review process, we continuously provide touchpoints to ensure you’re always in the know.
